We mix all our glazes from the raw ingredients and fire to stoneware temperature (cone 10) in a gas reduction kiln. We do not use lead or any other toxic ingredient in any of the glazes. All glazes are very durable and safe in the dishwasher and microwave. Due to the many variables in the firing process, please expect variations in color. These and other subtle differences are what give hand-made pottery its special charm.

Shamo with sgraffito is available only on Rope Mugs, Rope Pitchers and Rope Teapots.
