Product Description
This ray gun features a crackled glass marble as part of the gun scope and a tiny marble incorporated into the handle details. Skeletal and delicate with a gorgeous metallic glaze showing shades of copper, bronze, green and aqua.
The Raku Ray Guns are sized for the human hand. This one measures about 14" long by 11" tall. Each Raku Ray Gun comes with a ceramic moon crater plaque wall mount. The gun rests on brass hooks embedded in the plaque which provide a sturdy support. The plaque has an attached wire on the back, for hanging on the wall.
The visual roots that inspire these sculptures include sci-fi magazine covers from the 30's,40's and 50's, the styling cues from 50's automobiles, and design elements from Art Deco and Art Nouveau which contribute to the Steampunk flavor of the Raku Ray Guns.
When shipping, each ray gun if very carefully packed in yards of bubble wrap and double-boxed.
