Rope handle mugs and pitchers are made of high-fired stoneware, making them very durable as well as unique. The manila rope handles are attached with epoxy and sealed with two different sealers, making them impervious to water and safe in the dishwasher. The Rope-handle pots are the result of a problem-solving exercise on how to make mugs with unbreakable handles. They're also inspired by medieval wooden tankards with rope handles. The person in your life with a mug or pitcher collection doesn't have anything like these! Mugs and pitchers are available in any of our glaze choices.
